The initial goal of Possum Snout Arena was to provide families with wholesome
horse-related activities that offered a healthy sense of competition to develop
friendships.

Since that time, Rachel's Wish was born and we now provide the same opportunity to
those affected with challenges - whether they are financial, physical, emotional,
mental or drug related - whether adult or adolescence.

The participants and volunteers with Rachel's Wish Foundation are firm believers that
proactive involvement with youth is the key to preventing drug abuse, teenage
pregnacy and high school drop outs.  We also believe that people involved with
animals have a better understanding of respect and relationships.

We now provide services at no cost to :
Tanner Behavioral Health Equine Riding Clinic

The Learning Tree - whose facilities provide long term housing for individuals
afflicted with brain disorders through injury or disease

Adult and youth with handicaps - including wheelchair bound - riding therapy

You tell us your need and if we have the ability to help, you will learn, wishes
do come true - just as they did for Rachel.

How Can I Make a Difference
Leading a horse for a person
with disabilities is an important
part of our volunteer efforts
Horses are put to the test to
make sure they will not over
react to noise, movement and
will provide safe rides for youth
with special needs
In order for Rachel's Wish Foundation to provide opportunities for all
with a wish to enjoy Equine events and riding experiences, a
covered arena is necessary.  Many of our dreamers have physical
limitations and cannot spend time in the great outdoors.  So that all
of those needs can be met, please consider making a donation to
our organization.

We also encourage donations of tack and veterinary services so all
of those requesting services will never be turned away
